Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Staff was unable to demonstrate proper two-compartment warewashing method. This is repeat violation from previous inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Staff must follow the Fraser Health two-compartment warewashing method poster. One compartment is for detergent and rinsing. One other compartment is for sanitizing with approve sanitizer. Staff must demonstrate proper warewashing method during the next follow up inspection.

Observation: Ice scoop stored inside the ice machine. Ice machine door was kept opened at the time of the inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Store the ice scoop outside the ice machine. The handles cannot touch the ice. Keep the ice machine door closed to prevent contaminating the ice.

Observation: - Broken thermometer inside the domestic freezer/cooler combo.
- Outside gauge of the walk in cooler is broken.

Comments

- General sanitation is satisfactory.
- Main handwash station equipped with hot/cold running water, liquid soap in a dispenser and single-use hand towels.
- Two compartment sinks available for manual warewashing. Sanitizer available at 100ppm chlorine bleach concentration.
- Surface sanitizer available in designated bucket at 100ppm chlorine bleach concentration.
- Dry storage area has adequate space and wire racks. One chest freezer and one upright freezer in the basement storage unit.
- No signs of pest activity. Pest control is done through the mall management.
- Operating Permit posted with a valid decal.
- FOODSAFE trained staff on duty. Verified at the time of the inspection.

- Hot holding warmer (front) > 60C
