Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation: Third compartment sink full of dirty dishes and not full of sanitizer solution upon arrival of EHO.
This has been discussed with operator during prior inspections.
Facility missing one sink plug.

Correction: Facility needs dishwasher. Dishwasher is on site and requires a part. Owner stated dishwasher will take 2 weeks for installation.
Facility is too large to operate without dishwasher and staff are not able to keep third compartment filled with sanitizer solution at all times which was discussed during opening inspection.
Replace missing sink plug. Purchase extras.

ITEMS TO BE CORRECTED:
- Permit fees outstanding in the amount of $150.00 for the March 2022 - April 2023 fiscal year. Ensure Permit fees are paid IMMEDIATELY. Permit fee overdue letter was delivered in August. Follow instructions on letter. Make payment in person at any FHA Health Protection office or contact the Billing department at 604-918-7507.
- Dishwasher is to be installed. Facility needs dishwasher. Dishwasher is on site and requires a part. Owner stated dishwasher will take 2 weeks for installation. As previously discussed, facility is too large to operate without dishwasher and staff are not able to keep third compartment filled with sanitizer solution at all times which was discussed during opening inspection. Dishwasher is to be installed. Facility must have technician install dishwasher to ensure dishwashing meets demands of facility.
- Back door observed to be open at time of inspection. Facility has rodent infestation. Do NOT leave back door open. Closing back door prevents entry of rodents.
- Floors are in poor condition. Laminate has experienced water damage and is held together with tape and missing in areas. Floors require replacement. Discussed with owner. Floors to be repaired at future date


ITEMS CORRECTED:
- Hot holding unit has been installed in back area next to stove for use during lunch rush - EXCELLENT! Hot holding unit will better serve facility. Observed to be at temperatures of 60 degrees Celsius
- Personal effects not found to be in food preparation areas
- Third compartment sink has been filled with Sanitizer solution. Observed to be at 200ppm Chlorine. Continue this until such time as dishwasher can be installed
- Facility has been cleaned and sanitized. No evidence of rodent droppings. Significant cleaning has occurred at facility -EXCELLENT WORK
- Faucet in dishwashing area has been repaired/replaced - EXCELLENT!
- Handsinks adequately supplied.
- New more easily accessible hand sink has been installed in back kitchen area. Shelving unit has been removed from facility. Ensure item is fully accessible at all times.
