Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Three containers of soups and broths were kept in the freezer. Staff mentioned that these items are put in the hot holding unit directly.
Corrective Action(s): These items were discarded at the time of inspection. Ensure food is reheated to 74C in the microwave before putting into the hot holding units. Obtain and use a thermometer to ensure food is handled safely. Food can only be reheated once.

206 - Hot potentially hazardous food stored/displayed below 60 °C. [s. 14(2)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Some items in the hot holding unit had an internal temperature of 35-47C. The food had been delivered hot over 4 hours ago. Two containers of broth were kept at room temperature with an internal temperature of 32C.
Corrective Action(s): The following items were discarded at the time of inspection: 3 containers of sour soup (32-39C), 1 container of Taro leaves Coconut curry (34C), meat stew (44C), Igado (37C), Pinapatan (beef curry) (41C), Bopis (lung and heart curry) (41C). Do not store food items at room temperatures. You can only hot hold food that is delivered hot, as per your approved food safety plan. If reheating, ensure it is reheated to 74C before putting in the hot holding unit. Maintain temperature logs for deliveries and check temperatures every 2 hours to ensure food is held at 60C throughout the day. Date to be corrected by: today.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): There is no food grade sanitizer in any food handling area. Staff is unaware of what sanitizer is and kept showing hand sanitizer to the inspector when asked.
Corrective Action(s): Mix 5ml of bleach with 1 L of water to make sanitizer for wiping down all food counters. All service utensils and cookware are to be washed and sanitized.

Temperatures:
Coolers were maintaining at least 4C.

Hand sink is equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and disposable paper towels.
Dishwashing sinks have functional plugs, but the 3rd sink is leaking. *see violation above

No pest activity noted at the time of inspection.

Owner has a food safe level 1 certification valid until April 15, 2024.
Inspector will return to follow-up.
