Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Hand washing station at back storage area is observed obstructed with multiple boxes. Staff stated that the boxes are for return to the supplier.
Corrective Action(s): DO NOT store anything around the hand washing station. Ensure that all designated hand washing stations are maintained unobstructed and adequately supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel at all times to ensure staff are washing their hands frequently.

Observation:
1. One bag of onions and box of bananas observed stored directly on the floor in the storage area.

2. Bulk almonds and walnuts obsevred in boxes and stored at front service area with a scoop placed inside.
Corrective Action(s):
1. Move all food items to shelves at least 6 inches off the floor. All food must be stored off the floor to prevent potential physical, biological, chemical or pest contamination.

2. All bulk food items must be stored in the approved bulk storage container to prevent potential contamination of food. Do not store any bulk items which are intended for immediate consumption (e.g. nuts) out in the service area.

Observation: Peeled garlic observed peeled on site and stored in a container in the produce display cooler.
Corrective Action(s): DO NOT peel or process any fruits or vegetables on site. The facility is NOT approved for peeling or processing any fruits and vegetables. Submit a food safety plan to the health inspector if you would like to proceed with processing any fruits and vegetables on site.

- Hand washing stations in washroom are unobstructed and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel
- 3-compartment sink available with drain plugs
- Walk-in cooler at 2'C
- Walk-in freezer at -19'C
- Ice cream chest freezer measured at -19'C
- No signs of pest activity during inspection
- Bulk food containers observed in good sanitary condition with scoops placed in sanitary condition
- Canned food items observed in good condition. No dented cans observed on site

**Note: wipeable backsplash has been installed in the back storage area behind the 3-compartment sink

*Recommendations:
- Remove all boxes which are stored directly on the floor in the store and in the storage area to facilitate proper, frequent cleaning of floors AND to prevent rodent activity, harbourage, breeding on site.
