Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Found dirty spoon with food debris stored on the magnetic strip.
Corrective Action(s): Correction: Wash, rinse and sanitize the magnetic strip and spoon. Ensure all utensils are cleaned and sanitized before use/storage.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): No sanitizer solution in the bucket in the front prepping area.
Corrective Action(s): Correction: 100 ppm chlorine solution made during inspection. Ensure sanitizer solution is prepared every day in the morning before food prepping.

Observation: Dirty water in the mop bucket stayed overnight as staff indicates.
Corrective Action(s): Correction: Dump the dirty water into mop sink. Ensure dirty water is to be dumped right after the cleaning. In the summer it could be flies harbouring/breeding site.

Comments:
*Ensure mop sink is used for dirty water only.
-Hand sink fully equipped with liquid soap, paper towel and cold/hot water.
-All coolers are below 4 deg. C
-All freezers are below -18 deg. C
-Dry storage room downstairs is clean and organized.
-General sanitation is satisfactory.
-No obvious sign of pest activity observed.
-Professional pest control service comes every two weeks. Ensure you keep all reports.
-The operator demonstrated the procedure for preparing the shaved ice menu.
--> The food safety plan for the shaved ice menu was reviewed and approved.
--> Ensure to take all removable parts apart during cleaning.
--> Sanitize the equipment at least once every two weeks.
