Observation:
The u/c cooler, storing bottled drinks in the drive-thru area, does not have a door that closes tightly. The door gasket doesn't seal tightly and cold air is constantly leaking out. This is causing the cooler compressor to constantly work and it will break down quicker.
Corrective Action(s):
Repair or replace the cooler door/gasket, so the door tightly shuts and no cold air leaks out.

Comments

A routine inspection was completed:
- Coolers 4C or colder; freezers -18C or colder; hot holding units above 60C; thermometers present; and temperatures recorded daily.
- Hand sinks stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water.
- Quats sanitizer in cloth buckets and in 3-comp ware washing sink had strength of 200ppm.
- All foods stored in food grade containers; covered; labelled; date coded; foods stored in groups with raw proteins separate or below RTE foods; and foods stored 6" off the floor on shelves or racks.
- No expired foods in use or for sale. FIFO rules being followed.
- General sanitation level is good, improvement seen in the detailed areas and hard to reach areas. Exhaust canopy and filters were professionally cleaned this month.
- No signs of pests.
- Valid, FoodSafe level 1 certified staff present, or they possess a recognized equivalent certificate.
