Comments

As discussed with staff at previous inspection:
1) downstairs storage area is carpeted and is a food and food equipment storage area. Area is heavily infested with rodents. Carpet is unsuitable in food service establishments.
2) No person present today with FOODSAFE level one or equivalent Certification. One person must be present at all times with FOODSAFE Level One or equivalency training
3) Facility is heavily infested with rodents

NOTE: Discussion with Owner via telephone. The above items were discussed. Facility and landlord are in the process of having carpet removed from downstairs storage area. Ensure the material carpet flooring is replaced with is: Durable, Easily cleanable, solid non-absorbent material. Concrete is acceptable provided it is sealed. If owner wishes to discuss this further contact Fraser Health EHO Lisa Kirkham. Business card provided to staff.

NOTE: Email EHO Lisa Kirkham a copy of the Pest Technician report for file. Ensure cleaning and pest proofing occur for downstairs and upstairs portion of business.
