Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Foods in the walk-in cooler were probed at 10C. Operator is waiting for a new compressor to arrive on Friday.
Corrective Action(s): Cold potentially hazardous foods must be stored at 4C or less to prevent the growth of pathogens and or the formation of toxins. Foods relocated to cooler units capable of maintaining 4C or less.

Observation: Walk-in cooler was at 10C.
Corrective Action(s): Cooler unit needs to be serviced and must be able to maintain cold potentially hazardous foods at 4C or less on a consistent basis. Public Health Act Correction Order has been issued to the facility. Operator is to adhere to the conditions of the Order. Failure to adhere to the conditions will result in the issuance of a violation ticket or tickets.

Comments

-Follow-up inspection to July 20, 2017.
-Quats sanitizer dispenser was functioning and dispensing at 200ppm at the time of inspection.
-Sanitizer spray bottles were properly labelled and tested at 200ppm at the time of inspection.
-Did not find any mould foods in the cooler at the time of inspection.
-Walk-in cooler unit has not been repaired and was found to be at 10C. Public Health Act Correction Order has been issued to the operator regarding a non-functioning walk-in cooler. Failure to comply with the conditions of the Order will result in the issuance of a violation ticket or tickets.
