Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observations: Opened can of pineapples (diced) observed stored inside original metal can with metal lid still attached to cover food.
Corrective actions: Discard food and ensure all opened canned food items are stored in food grade containers for storage. Opened metal cans can rust and oxidize which may cause metal to leach into food and contaminate food. Operator discarded food at time of inspection. Education provided on risk associated with opened metal cans.

Can opener and vegetable slicer in sanitary condition.
Ice machine in sanitary condition. Ice well in sanitary condition. Both had designated area for scoop storage.
Dry storage area organized and in sanitary condition. Chemicals stored separately in designated area.
Mop sink in sanitary condition. No signs of stagnant water.
3 compartment sink available for warewashing. Drain plugs available.
Handsinks equipped with liquid soap, single use paper towels and hot and cold running water. Sinks are accessible and unobstructed.
Employee practiced good hand hygiene. Hand washing was done when switching tasks.
Drink dispensing area at back of premise observed in sanitary condition. No puddling of liquid underneath.
Overall sanitation good. Work stations and food prep stations organized and kept in sanitary condition.
No signs of pest at time of inspection. Pest control service done monthly (most recent report done May22/2024. No signs of pes issues.)
Equipment and utensils (i.e. tongs and spoons) cleaned and sanitized after each use.
