Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): -Again observed tin cans opened and storage -of note coconut cream, and evaporated milk

-A number of foods in display coolers and walk-in coolers do not have coverage and are open to contamination

-Raw meats and eggs observed stored above ready-to-eat foods in Walk-in cooler

-Pooling and storage of raw eggs observed
Corrective Action(s): -You must fully empty out cans and discard.

Increased enforcement will be necessary if you cannot abide this.

-adequately cover foods in all your fridges -no double stacking allowed with lids inbetween

Store raw meats/seafoods/eggs below ready-to-eat foods

-Discard pooled egg (CORRECTED) -no pooling and storage of raw egg allowed -once cracked the egg must be cooked and served otherwise you may use pasteurized egg as a substitute -BCCDC handout links (Chinese translated included) emailed to operator -print out and review with your workers -have copies onsite

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): -Again observed disposable food wrap such as tin foil, cardboard, cellophane used to cover food areas:

Wafflemaker has cellophane, cardboard, and tin foil covering parts of the unit -this is indicating the workers are not cleaning and sanitizing properly

-kitchen seafood cutting area next to 2-compartment sink -the surrounding walls are deteriorating where paint is peeling and being chipped off
Corrective Action(s): -Your wafflemaker is a commerical food unit and has surfaces that can be cleaned over and over -do not cover equipment with disposable wrap.

Clean and sanitize this unit

Repeat infractions will require increased enforcement: ie. ticket(s)

-line the seafood cutting area walls with a more durable easily cleanable material such as FRP panels or stainless steel -operator to picture verify it is installed at eric.decastro@fraserhealth.ca within one week

In-Use Utensils: maintained in ice water
-all goods maintained off the floor >15cm to facilitate cleaning and monitoring pests underneath
-no signs of pests

Professional pest control comes on a regular basis: Lower Mainland Pest Control comes in monthly

Handsinks well stocked single service drying method, soap in a dispenser, hot/cold water and clear for access

NOTE: City of Burnaby bylaw for Fetal Alcohol signs has changed -now required in all public washrooms where alcohol is served -a sign is provided for the men's washroom
