Routine inspection conducted today:
Handwash stations accessible, equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel.
Refrigeration unit was at 4.0C or below.
All freezer units were at -18.0C or below.
Note: Large amount of ice buildup was noted on the floor in the walk-in freezer. Please defrost and clean up frost buildup.
In-use ice cream scoops were being submerged in dipper wells - functioning at the time of inspection.
3-compartment sink was set-up at the time of inspection. 100 PPM chlorine residual was detected in the sanitize basin.
Note: As per Assistant Manager, they scoop out sanitizer solution from the sanitize basin of the 3-compartment sink whenever they need sanitizer solution. Going forward, please ensure you have a sanitizer container set-up and ready to go for in-use wiping cloths when needed.
No signs of pest activities were noted at the time of inspection.
Food contact items were noted sanitary and in good condition.
Facility noted organized and in a sanitary condition.
Assistant Manager has a valid FOODSAFE level 1 equivalent certificate - expires July 12, 2025.
