Introduction

An unscheduled follow up inspection was conducted to routine inspection report #KSEY- BAFNGB, dated March 20, 2019. Areas of non-compliance identified at the routine inspection were reviewed for compliance.

Observed Violations
PHYSICAL FACILITY, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS: 11190 - CCLR s.16(4)(b) - A licensee must ensure that all indoor and outdoor play materials and equipment accessible to children are (b) safely constructed, free from hazards and in good repair.
Observation: The Licensee was previously coded for not having resilient ground cover under the piece of equipment that is a combination of slide, climber and swing.

Corrective Action(s): The Licensee stated that the children do use this piece of equipment as the Licensee has not had an opportunity to install resilient ground cover. The Licensee is planning to install resilient ground cover during the summer or remove the structure and in the interim the children will not be permitted use this piece of outdoor equipment.
