Routine inspection conducted at the deli department of the store and the following observations were made:

- Display cooler was maintained at 1C.
- Walk-in cooler at 1C.
It is recommended to maintain daily temperature logs.
- Handwash station available and had supply of hot and cold running water, liquid soap and single use paper towels.
- 3 compartment dishwashing sink is used for manual dishwahsing. Sanitizer dispenser releases 200ppm of QUATS solution.
- Sanitizer spray bottle was available and the concentration of QUATS was noted at 200ppm.
- Chemicals and cleaners were stored away from food prep area.
- Meat slicers (x2) were maintained in good sanitary condition. Staff states that the slicer is sanitized every 2 hours, between different meats and at the end of the day. Good.
- Food was stored 6" off the floor.
- Food products were either pre-packaged or properly covered.
- No signs of pest activity observed during inspection.
- Staff has FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate.

In general, the deli department is well maintained.
