Corrective Action(s): Seal all opened bags with a knot-tie or transfer contents into pest proof containers. Folding over the bags does not securely seal the contents.

Observation: > Observed mouse and rat droppings throughout the warehouse section of the facility, particularly on the bottom shelves of the storage racks and underneath.
> Mouse droppings observed in the walk-in cooler.

REPEAT VIOLATION.
Corrective Action(s): CORRECTION ORDER ISSUED. Operator must remove all mouse and rat droppings by:
> Cleaning underneath each shelving rack.
> Cleaning the shelves of each shelving rack. All products must be removed from the shelves in order to facilitate with cleaning and identifying droppings.
> Cleaning between, behind, and under each pallet in the walk-in cooler.
> Cleaning must be followed with a 100ppm bleach sanitizing solution in order to remove scents that may be attracting more rodents.

100ppm bleach solution is approximately 2mL of bleach in 1L of water.

Follow-up to inspection report #KLIU-CJMUKE:

> Unused, old equipment previously stored outside of the walk-in cooler have been removed.
> Loading bay door sweep has been reinforced with a metal plate installed to the exterior side of the door.
> Most recent report provided during the routine inspection was from September. Operator must forward the report from October to EHO for review by the end of the month.
