Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1. A container of nachos were stored directly on ready-to-eat slaw salad in the white stand-up produce cooler.
2. In the stand-up prep freezer, frozen zucchini sticks were stored in close contact with the shelving that had ice build-up.
3. Small black debris observed inside the container that stored the ice scoop. Container was stored in front of a blowing ventilation outlet.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Food handler discard the contaminated slaw. Do not store containers directly on food.
2. Food handler placed a lid on the container to protect the food.
3. Food handler placed the ice scoop and container into the dishwasher. Relocate the storage of the container/scoop to protect from being contaminated.

Comments

Many items were corrected since last inspection VIPP-B8W2EK:
- Sanitizer in spray bottles and wiping rags in sanitizer buckets 200-400 ppm QUATT.
- Meat slicer was clean
- Installed a new double sliding door cooler unit that maintained below 4C
- White stand-up cooler furthest left in the back kitchen maintained below 4C
- Thermometers present in refrigeration units
- Light covers installed in kitchen and storage area
- Food handler completed food safety training, and presented a valid certificate
- Lid of ice machine was replaced with new

Remaining items to follow up:
- Replace the rusty metal shelving of the top cooler unit with wooden doors at the bar that stores milk.
- Repair the water-damaged wall at the dishwashing area
