306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)] Observation: Washrooms and back storage area have grime in corners, floor, in between floor tiles. Cabinets underneath self serve coffee station have spilled sugar, straws and sticky residue. Water and drinks spill in coffee/self serve drinks area needed to be cleaned up and attended to, this was completed during the inspection, thank you Corrective Action(s): Use an approved degreaser to scrub under the food counters at the front. Pull out hot holding units and clean underneath. Inside cabinets: please clean up sugar, organize food items to avoid contaminating paper packages and food packaging. Floor around back door needs cleaning and scrubbing to avoid attracting pests. Date to be completed by: this week. Violation Score: 3

Display coolers for self serve hot dog condiments <4C. Hot holding units for fried foods and pizza (display unit) >60C. Hot holding unit for hot dog and tequitos rollers >60C. Pizza and sandwich coolers <4C. Hand wash sink at front in use and well supplied with soap and paper towels. Employees were observed to use hand sink at front after serving customers and don on gloves after washing hands. Thank you. Store was very busy at time of inspection and front end staff was able to keep up with hand hygiene during the inspection, please continue keep up the good work on this. No signature required due to Covid19 precautions.
