Observation: A self-serve coffee station has been added. Operator has not submitted a sanitation plan for approval.
Corrective Action(s): Submit a sanitation plan for the new coffee machine. Food grade sanitizer mixing directions discussed with the operator on site. Mix 5 mL of bleach with 1 L of water to make 100-200 ppm chlorine solution for sanitation. Date to be corrected by: July 13, 2022

Routine inspection conducted.

Facility has added a self-serve coffee station. The coffee machine has pre-installed coffee dry mixes. Powdered coffee whitener is also available. Customers purchase coffee cups from the cashier and self-serve coffee. Submit an updated sanitation plan to the inspector within 1 week.

Temperatures:
- Coolers were holding food at 4 degrees Celsius or less..
- Freezers were maintaining at least -18 degrees Celsius.

All units had functional thermometers.

Storage & Sanitation:
- Hand sinks are equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and disposable paper towels.
- General sanitation is excellent. Hard to reach areas, behind shelves, under display stands, and back storage are in good sanitary condition.
- Randomly selected items were within their Best Before dates.

Pest Control:
- Facility is monitored by a professional pest control company that visits twice a month.
- No pest activity noted at the front of the store.
NOTE: some rodent droppings were noted in the back warehouse area behind freezers. All food is kept off the floor and in pest proof containers in the back area. Ensure sanitation is maintained to continue monitoring for pest activity.
