Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DoLSoP). All care categories were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

On the inspection date of November 15, 2023 there were 16 children and 3 staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. Actions required by the licensee include no further action required and actions required the LO include no further action required. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided. This inspection report was completed off site and emailed to the facility the same day. Discussions took place regarding the following topics: Maintenance schedule in the program CRC expiry dates reviewed - Licensee to be reviewed Health and Hygiene Preventative Practices Staffing qualifications for ECEA renewal The following resources were provided: Licensing Officer’s Business Card Visit the CCFL website at www.fraserhealth.ca/childcare for additional resources, and links to the Legislation (CCALA and CCLR).
