Introduction

An unscheduled inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

Summary of Inspection
At the inspection dated January 30,2020 there were 9 children and 3 staff present. Licensee stated that there are 15 children registered in the program. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.

Licensing conducted a walk-through of the entire facility.

A discussion was had with the manager about Medications; Medication forms and documentation in the minor incident log book.
The following education/recommendations were provided:

· Active Supervision
· Lead in the Water
