10 childrens records were randomly reviewed (5 from each program) and found complete. The new Director of Licensing Standard of Practice for Active Play and Screen Time Use is posted and available to parents. Staff verbally informed Licensing of the outdoor time children are outside and this exceeds the DLSOP. In addition, Screen Time is not offered at anytime to children in care.
Playground Renovations:
The Manager advised that renovations are being planned for the outdoor area to create a more natural outdoor environment. Please submit the outdoor plan to Licensing for approval (i.e. Site Plan) as the one on file will no longer be relevant due to the proposed changes. A reinspection of the area will need to be completed. |
