Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance.

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

Summary of Inspection: At the inspection dated September 26, 2023 there were 23 children and 3 staff present. At this inspection no noted contraventions were identified. The following was discussed or education provided: Mixing the group of Kindergarten children and grade 1's with older children. First Aid certification for at least one staff in each portable as the portables are situated far from each other and in case of an emergency it would be difficult for staff with first aid to attend to the child.
