Observation: Food stains found on walls around the stove and 3-compartment sink, around electrical outlets in the kitchen, and on cupboard doors in the deli area. This will attract pests.
Corrective Action(s): Immediately scrub and clean the mentioned areas to remove the food debris. Detailed cleaning of these areas require to be done on a daily basis to prevent mice and fly problems.

Comments

A routine inspection was completed:
- Coolers 4C or colder; freezers -15C or colder; hot holding units above 60C; and thermometers present.
- Bleach sanitizer is spray bottles and cloth buckets had [Cl2] of 200ppm.
- Hand sink stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water
- General sanitation level is good. Improvement needed in the mentioned areas.
- No signs of pests.
- Foods stored in food grade containers; covered; labelled; date coded; foods stored in groups; and foods stored 6" off the floor on shelves and racks.
- No expired foods in use or for sale. FIFO rules being followed.
- FoodSafe certified staff present. Owner's daughter has certificate, which expires in 2027.
- Proper labels found on repackaged items or RTE, take home meals. Great job.
- Domestic dishwasher present that does NOT have the ANSI 184 designation, therefore it does NOT sanitize dishes and cutlery. If items are placed in the dishwasher, they must be sanitized by soaking them in a solution of bleach and water (1Tbsp of bleach to 4L of hot water). This MUST be done in one of the 3-comp sink basins. If this is not completed, the domestic dishwasher shall NOT be used.
