308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)] Observation: [REPEAT VIOLATION] One of two hand washing stations in the kitchen is not yet able to dispense hot water. Operator stated that the warm water was back yesterday after my visit and after the plumber's visit. Temporary hand washing station is set up at this hand sink and other adequate hand washing stations are available in the kitchen. Corrective Action(s): Repair the hot water at the aforementioned hand washing station immediately. All designated hand washing stations must be adequately supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel to ensure volunteers are washing their hands properly before handling food. Follow-up Inspection Conducted - Refer to inspection report #SDHI-D3ATHN for more information Observations: - General sanitation satisfactory - All food observed stored covered and at least 6 inches off the floor - No signs of pest activity during inspection - Hand washing stations have been supplied with paper towel and liquid soap as required *Notes: - Operator mentioned that the hand air dryers and wall-mounted liquid soap dispensers are under a contract to be repaired and supplied by the manufacturer. - Ensure the air dryers are repaired and contact the health inspector once the air dryers have been repaired. - Until the manufacturer has visited to repair the air dryers and supply liquid soap in the dispensers ALL HAND WASHING STATIONS MUST be supplied with hot and cold running water, paper towel and a disposable liquid soap dispenser AT ALL TIMES Inspection report will be emailed to the operator. - Follow-up inspection to be conducted tomorrow, Mar 14, 2024 Please contact the health inspector for any questions or concerns.
