Seasonal opening inspection Water Chemistry -pH 7.4 -Free available chlorine at 3.2 ppm; combined chlorine at 0 ppm -Total alkalinity at 110 ppm -Cyanuric acid less than 80 ppm -Water temperature less than 37 C General -Water clarity good; able to see main drain and its cover -Pool deck clear of obstacles -Ledges and steps in contrasting colour -Depth marks available and easy to see -Pool sign/rules posted, no lifeguard on duty sign available -Pool safety equipment available on site and easily accessible -Skimmer and floating weir in good working order; equilizer line blocked -Hand rails tightly secured -Pool data sheet available on site; designed flow rate 75 US GPM, main drain surfaces area 50.24 in squared. Velocity less than 1.5 ft/s -Pool water chemistry tested at least twice a day and recorded -Pool chemicals stored in a separate shelter with a lock Mechanical room -Organized and no chemical storage in the mechanical room -Flow meter available; 75 US GPM noted -No changes to the components made other than the water heater -Sand filter back washed twice a week; could be more depending on the usage.
