209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Garbage bags were used to seal the large food storage bins. Food was not in direct contact with the garbage bags at the time of inspection. Please note that garbage bags contain odor suppressing chemicals that can cause potential chemical contamination of food. Staff removed the garbage bags during inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Use proper food grade material , lids and wraps to cover the food products. Do not use garbage bags for food storage.

304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation: Rodent droppings were observed throughout the facility - both buildings. Droppings observed in the following areas:
- Dry storage room
- On shelving units
- Along the walls & corners
Corrective Action(s): 1. Remove the rodent droppings from the affected areas and disinfect the area with 1 part bleach to 9 part water solution. Use proper PPE during cleaning.
2. Regular monitoring is required for new pest activity.
3. Contact your Pest Control Company immediately.
4. Use pest proof containers to prevent the risk of food contamination from rodent feces, urine and/or saliva.
5. De-clutter the back garbage disposal area and 2nd storage building.

Observation: 1. Garbage disposal area and 2nd building has clutter and products on floor that could attract pest.
2. Open bags of dry food observed in 2nd building.
3. Build up of food debris in the facility.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Please de-clutter and clean the abovementioned areas.
2. Use proper pest proof containers for dry storage.
3. Regular cleaning is required.

Routine inspection conducted.

Observations:
- Temperature of coolers including walk in cooler recorded at or below 4C
- Freezers maintained at -18C or below.
- Handwash sink present and equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and single use paper towels.
- 3 comp dishwashing sink available for manual dishwashing.
- 200ppm bleach solution recorded in sanitizing bucket.
- High temp mechanical dishwasher in good working order.
- Food storage practices require improvement.

CORRECTION ORDER issued at the time of inspection. A follow up inspection will be conducted to ensure compliance. Non-compliance in future may result in further enforcement action which may include CLOSURE Order, fines, violation tickets etc.
