Comments

Routine inspection conducted. Kitchenette is typically used for private functions and community service programs, but can be rented out by members of the public. Kitchen not in use at time of inspection. The following observations were made:

- Domestic cooler at 4C, domestic freezer unit at -18C
- Hand wash station adequately stocked with hot/cold running water, liquid soap, and single-use paper towels (wall-mounted)
- Domestic dishwasher present. Ensure that you sanitize all dishes with your two-compartment sink (wash and rinse in one compartment, and sanitize in second compartment). Add approximately 5 capfuls of bleach and fill your sink halfway to reach an approximately 100-200 ppm solution of chlorine bleach. Ensure that you immerse dishware for at least 2 minutes before air drying
- All utensils and dishware in cabinets are stored in good sanitary condition
- Professional pest control company conducts routine audits and sets mechanical traps. As noted above, please contact the company to continually monitor for rodent activity
- Premise maintained in excellent sanitary condition
- When the kitchen is in use, sanitizer must be present in the facility (e.g. a bucket with 200 ppm chlorine bleach or a spray bottle with 200 ppm bleach). Instructions are 1 teaspoon (5 ml) per litre of water.

Recommendations:
- The front entrance of the arena does have a air gap. It is recommended that you install a door sweep / bristles at the bottom as one means of preventing rodent entry
