Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DoLSoP). All care categories were inspected for compliance.

No violations were found during the inspection.
Comments

Summary of Inspection:
At the inspection dated September 19, 2023 there were 3 children present and 2 at the school total of five children on attendance record. Licensing met with the licensee. At this inspection no contraventions were identified.
A routine inspection was conducted due to the facility's medium risk rating. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.

The following was discussed or education provided:
Ensuring all the doors are kept locked at all times.
To label the bedding boxes with the names of children who are attending the facility.
Cleaning up the room to give children more floor space. Putting toys away and rotating toys.
