Observation: Missing working thermometers in undercouner cooler, prep line cooler, and the walk in cooler.

502 - In operator’s absence, no staff on duty has FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent [s. 10(2)]
Observation: No FOODSAFE trained staff on duty at the time of the inspection. The owner stated that he has registered two staff to FOODSAFE course.
Corrective Action(s): The operator is to send copies of ALL FOODSAFE certificates once the staff successfully completes the course via email. Please ensure that at least one FOODSAFE trained staff is on duty at ALL times.

Follow up inspection to report #DSOG-AZHTAM:

- The undercounter cooler behind the sandwich prep line cooler measured at 5C at the time of the inspection. Daily temperature log shows no concerns.
- The surface sanitizer stored in metal bucket at the handwashing station in the front measured at 200ppm QUAT solution.
Note that all FOODSAFE certificates obtained prior to July 29th, 2013 expire on July 29th 2018. The operator is to successfully complete the refresher course to receive recertification.
