Observation: Rodent droppings observed in back stock room, next to freezer unit (outside freezer) and in back of lower cupboards without door fronts.
NOTE: none of the cupboards with food inside had signs of pest infestation as all had doors

Corrective Action(s): Pull all items away from walls in stock room and washroom. Pull out all items of lower cupboards.
Clean and sanitize all affected areas with 200ppm Chlorine solution.
.Inspect all items for signs of infestation and discard any item that has been contaminated by fecal matter or chew marks.

NOTE: it is a recommendation by the Environmental Health Inspector to install cupboard doors on all remaining lower shelving units without doors.

COMMENTS
- Facility in GOOD sanitary condition
- Pest control program in place
- Handsinks adequately supplied
- Two sink plugs for back two compartment sink
- Bleach for sanitizer solution available - staff able to explain how to properly sanitize dishware
- Freezers achieving temperatures of less than or equal to -18 degrees Celsius
- Dipper well functional and in use
- Stock room downstairs did not have evidence of rodent infestation at this time

NOTE: Facility has two stockrooms downstairs.
It is recommended to move boxed chocolates off floor and install a door skirt. Currently there is not an infestation in this stock room however the mall is highly infested with rodents
