Observation: Rodent droppings were observed under the cabinet with the pop machine. Did not observe rodent droppings in other parts of the kitchen.
Corrective Action(s): Clean and sanitize areas affected by rodent droppings. Monitor for pest activity and contact pest control and seal entry points as needed.

Observation: Grease droppings were observed by the vent area over the fryer.

Observation: Staff member on-site did not have FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent training.
Corrective Action(s): In the absence of the operator, at least one staff member on-site must have FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent training. Staff member registered for FOODSAFE Level 1 equivalence at the time of inspection.

Comments

-Upright cooler was at 4C.
-Under counter cooler was at 4C.
-Counter top cooler was at 1C.
-Walk-in freezer was at -14C.
-Handwash stations accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Chemical dishwasher had a final rinse of 50ppm chlorine on the dish surface during the final rinse cycle (minimum of 50ppm required for proper sanitizing).
-Sanitizer spray bottles labelled and tested at 100ppm to 200ppm.
-Ice machine was clean and sanitary.
-General food storage practices good at the time of inspection. Foods stored off the ground and protected from potential contamination.
*Ensure floor plans are submitted and health approval is granted prior to completing renovations.
-Washroom clean and sanitary. Handwash station supplied with liquid hand soap and single use paper towels.
