Routine check.
Food Service for Assisted Living for lunch and dinner. Food prepared at main KinVillage kitchen.
Food safe trained staff on site - in compliance.
Hand washing - station has hot/cold water, liquid soap, and paper towels. Keep hand sink accessible (empty) during food service.
Non-latex disposable gloves also worn.
Fridge temperature is below 4C/40F. Freezer (ice cream) - satisfactory.
Hot holding is above 60C/140F.
Temperature records are kept.
Cold food kept on ice is held for 2 hours maximum and then discarded.
Quats 100-200ppm - change frequently (bring out fresh solution for every service time - 4 hours maximum). Records kept.
Dishwasher - final rinse water gauge is at 96C (82C required) and temperature sticker changed color (71C/160F temperature reached inside of the machine) as required - ok. Records are kept.
**Note that the final rinse water gauge may not be accurate based on digital thermometer reading (inside of the machine). During next service of dishwasher, verify accuracy of the machine final rinse temperature gauge. Recommend an additional dishwasher thermometer to measure inside temperature. Provide update to Fraser Health on dishwasher.
Cleaning - ok.
Licensed pest control contracted for this building. Monitoring in place.
