Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Sanitizer spray bottle in the front area had no detectable Quats sanitizer concentration.
Corrective Action(s): Quats sanitizer at 200ppm is required to properly sanitizer food contact surfaces. Quats solution was prepared to 200ppm to 400ppm at the time of inspection.

Observation: Light shield in the walk-in cooler is missing.
Corrective Action(s): Replace shatter shield or use a shatter resistant light bulb to prevent potential glass contamination of foods.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 3C.
-Pizza prep cooler (both units) were at or less than 4C (top and bottom).
-Front glass door cooler unit was at 2C.
-Upright freezer was at -9C.
-Temperatures are checked and recorded daily.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in 3-compartment sink. Sink plug available and test strips used to verify Quats sanitizer concentration.
-Handwash station easily accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Foods in dry storage were in good condition.
-General food storage practices good at the time of inspection. Foods properly stored off the floor and covered.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and sanitary.
*FoodSafe certificates issued prior to July 29, 2013 expire on July 29, 2018. In order to meet the FoodSafe requirement, FoodSafe certificate must be valid/not expired.
