Comments

- Follow up inspection conducted to verify corrective actions taken.
- Crab (fresh) is no longer being portioned in store. Seafood present in store was pre-packaged.
- Store Manager confirmed all seafood (and meat) is now received pre-portioned/packaged from vendor.
- Initial approval of food premises was based on sale of pre-packaged foods only with the exception of whole fruits and vegetables (no washing or trimming) - this was reviewed with Store Manager and QA Manager.
- All seafood (and meat) are stored in protein walk-in cooler and no longer in produce walk-in cooler.
- Cleaning under shelving was being completed at time of inspection. Ensure hard to reach areas of the floor are cleaned routinely as part of your regular cleaning schedule. Ensure any spills are cleaned up promptly to prevent attraction of pests.
- Excess cardboard from back area has been removed.

Attention required:
- Multiple orders were received at time of inspection with significant amount of stock present in retail store area.Store Mgr reported some will be put away; however, some is for the next weeks promotions. Store Manager reported they have followed up with Head Office to ensure promotional stock is not being received too far in advance due to limited space in store.
- Continued attention is needed to ensure stock received is limited to the quantity that can be accommodated in designated storage areas or on retail shelving. Additionally, ensure any items no longer required are removed to ensure adequate space for food storage.
