- Employee did not know about sanitizing solution or how to make it.
- Blenders and equipment are not sanitized after use.
Corrective Action(s): - Store wiping cloths in 100-200 ppm chlorine bleach sanitizing solution. (1 tsp chlorine bleach + 1 L water).
- Wash and SANITIZE blenders and equipment after use. Use 100-200 ppm chlorine bleach sanitizing solution to sanitize.

Corrective Action(s): - Remove all items from 2-compartment sink. Unit cannot be used for storage. It must be used for warewashing and sanitizing.
- Prep sink must be used for warewashing only.

2. Metal tins of drink syrups stored directly on the ground under blender area and blender sink beside cleaning chemicals.
3. Single compartment fruit prep sink also being used for warewashing purposes as warewashing sink unavailable for use.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Discard drink mixes and sugar.
2. Store all food items at least 6" (15 cm) off the ground. Do not store food items among or near cleaning chemicals.
3. Single compartment fruit prep sink is to be used for fruit/ food prep ONLY.

- Store chemicals in original labelled containers.

- Interior of ice machine appears maintained in a sanitary condition. Ice scoop stored inside ice machine, scoop handle not touching ice.
- Rodent glue traps placed throughout the premises empty at time of inspection.

*Replace 2-compartment sink faucet. Ensure it is sized to fit so that it doesn't extend past the sink compartments.


**Inadequate storage space is creating sanitation and food safety issues. Premises does not have any additional auxiliary storage space. Reorganize storage. All items must be stored at least 6" (15 cm) off the ground. All sinks must be used for their intended purposes and cannot be used for storage (handsink, blender rinse sink, prep sink, 2-compartment sink, mop sink). It is highly recommended that you obtain an auxiliary storage unit in close proximity to the premises. Future inspections identifying inadequate storage space, sanitation and/ or food safety issues will result in further enforcement action such as reducing/ limiting the menu and/ or the issuance of Correction Orders and Violation Tickets.**
