Observation: - Rodent droppings observed under bread section shelving and on shelving between products.
- Rodent droppings and several caught rodents in snap traps observed under produce display coolers.
Corrective Action(s): - Remove droppings and caught rodents from above noted areas.
- Sanitize affected areas on bread section shelving.
- Thoroughly clean above noted areas regularly.
- Ensure all areas are accessible for pest control service.
- Follow all recommendations provided by your pest control service technicians.

Observation: - Vendor bread display is overstocked.
- Heavy accumulation of food debris and garbage observed under produce display coolers.
- Particle board between bread display shelves may be providing nesting materials for rodents.
Corrective Action(s): - Do not overstock bread displays. Allow for a gap/ spacing between back of shelves and products to facilitate pest monitoring and cleaning and to minimize potential harbourage areas.
- Maintain a higher level of sanitation under all hard to reach areas, especially produce display coolers.
- Remove particle boards between bread display shelves to minimize potential nesting materials for rodents. (Removed at time of inspection).
- Continue to follow all recommendations provided by your pest control service technician.

- Produce Room:
- Handsink accessible and supplied with hot and cold water, liquid soap and papertowels.
- 200 ppm QUATS sanitizing available for sanitizing food contact surfaces and equipment.

- Back storage room, compost collection bins, and garbage compacter areas appear organized. Stock is organized and general sanitation appears satisfactory.
- Pest control management company provides service to the premises 2-3 times/ week.
- Recent work orders have been scheduled and/ or completed to address the following:
1. Steel plate flashing was installed on walls between retail area and storage room.
2. Additional ketch-all traps and snap traps have been placed throughout the premises in areas where active rodent activity has been noted (produce area, pet foods section, bakery section).
3. Additional access has been requested for areas between retail area refrigeration units.
4. New steel plating has been ordered for areas under produce display coolers.
5. More frequent cleaning has been scheduled for bakery, produce, and pet food sections.

**Continue to work on maintaining a higher level of sanitation throughout the premises, especially in areas where rodent activity has been identified.
**Continue to monitor pest activity and take corrective actions when new activity or increased activity is observed.
