Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): A few jars of fermented pickles and an unlabelled bag of old pepperoni sticks (?) are not from an approved source.
Corrective Action(s): These items were discarded during inspection. This premises is not approved for food processing other than beer processing. There is no room for the processing of fermented vegetables.

304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation: Several rodent droppings were noted on the floor near the wall to the staff washroom and on the floor behind the grain storage shelves.
Corrective Action(s): The premises must be free of pests. Immediately: 1. Clean up all droppings and food debris. 2. Discard any grain that has been contaminated by rodents. All food is to be stored in pest-proof bins or in a pest-free area. Store food at least 6 inches above the floor and away from the walls. 3. Trap any live rodents. 4. Seal all entrances where pests may enter premises. 5. Monitor for pests. If there is still a problem, consult with a licenced pest control expert. Provide an update to Fraser Health.

Observation:
Corrective Action(s): Continue with routine cleaning. Clean floor.

308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation: The hand washing sink and double compartment clean up sinks are more accessible today - good. There is no hot water at the double sink (turned on during inspection). There appears to be a water leak from the hand washing sink (water noted on the floor after use of the hand sink).
Corrective Action(s): Hot and cold water to be provided at all times during operation at the double sink. Repair all water leaks, including the leak at the hand washing sink. Do this before May 8, 2019.

Observation: The clean up sinks are not accessible as equipment and kegs are blocking access. Most equipment is clean in place.
Correction: Hot and cold water, sinks for clean up, and sufficient space is required for cleaning utensils and premises.

Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation: Hand washing stations (for staff and in staff washroom) are blocked and cannot be used. Operator advises they wash hands at next door location.
Correction: Keep hand washing stations accessible for use by staff on the brew side..
Comments

Staff washroom is now accessible. Hand sink has hot and cold water, liquid soap and paper towels.
Hand sink and double clean up sinks - see above. These are now accessible.
Premises is better organized.
Not approved for processing of fermented produce (eg pickles). Beer processing only.
Keep your written sanitation plan (showing chemicals used to clean and sanitize as well as how chemicals are to be stored and used as per manufacturer's directions) and written cleaning schedule on site.
