305 - Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)]
Observation: Pest proofing baseboards installed since previous inspection below cashier, in front of beverage cooler, and kitchen door have all been damaged by pest activity (chewing) and are not effective barriers.
Seating area: wall mounted seating bench - at both ends baseboard has been chewed and have holes sufficient to allow mice to harbour within the bench.
Corrective Action(s): Previous installed baseboards are to be replaced with durable pest resistant material.
Holes on both sides of seating bench are to be sealed off.

306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Mouse droppings observed on surfaces throughout premise: pony wall ledge behind both upright storage units, on counter around pop dispenser / cash register / drink cups and pizza bags, and on wheeled storage units below cashier counter, on storage shelf directly above pizza prep counter, inside wheeled trash / recyclables counter, on bottom shelf of pizza oven, of floor / corners adjacent to the pizza oven, pizza display, and in storage closet around safe.
Corrective Action(s): All surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned with warm water and detergent to remove all debris.
After cleaning, all surfaces to be treated with dilute bleach and water (100 ppm chlorine)
Premise sanitation must be maintained daily (multiple times a day if necessary) to maintain a high level of sanitation and discourage pest activity.
