Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: 1. A brown buildup was observed on some parts of the ice machine interior.
2. What appeared to be food debris was observed on parts of turning vegetable slicer.
Correction: Turning vegetable slicer placed into dishwashing area to be washed and sanitized at time of inspection.
Discard ice and ensure ice machine interior components are properly cleaned and sanitized. Date to be corrected by: Today.

Follow up to Rpt # MBEK-BLPT2K.
Equipment noted on previous report has been cleaned and sanitized. Reminder to ensure equipment is cleaned on a regular basis, including hard-to-reach areas. A brush may be recommended for loosening debris on spiked surface of the vegetable slicing equipment prior to washing, rinsing, and sanitizing.
No foreign materials observed in dry storage bins at time of inspection.
No concerns with cooling at time of inspection.
Onions observed to be stored off the floor.
Majority of items that were noted on the previous report were removed from the washroom. A few boxes of chopsticks that remained were removed at the time of inspection.
