Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation: The main handwashing station was completely blocked by two large metal storage containers of hot tofu. The main handwashing station was in an area separated by a door from the food prep/handling area.
Correction: Remove the storage containers. Keep this area clear of any obstructions. The main handwashins tation must be easily accessible. Remove the door that is separating the food prep area and the handwashing station. Staff must be able to wash their hands as frequently as possible without any obstructions when handling food.
Correct by: August 3, 2021.

Observation: Observed staff handling cash and food without thoroughly washing their hands in between. Staff wore gloves.
Correction: Staff must wash their hands anytime after handling cash. Glove use does not substitute washing hands.
Comments

Follow up inspection to report #DSOG-C5SVDS:

- Main handwashing station supplied with hot/cold running water, soap, paper towels. The door has been removed from the food handling area and handwashing station. Easy access to handwashing station. Currently, one staff handles food and another staff handles cash.
- Three containers on site.
- Hot tofu stored at between 62-73C at the time of the inspection.
- Hot toppings stored between 59-61C in the hot holding units.
- Hot tofu served within 2 hours.
- Time stamping available.
- Time stamping kept up to date.
- FOODSAFE trained staff on duty. Verified at the time of the inspection.
