Comments

Processing areas:
Hand wash stations provided with liquid soap and paper towels.
Refrigerations units were at or below 4 deg C. Thermometers were available in these units.
Quats sanitizer available. Ensure sanitizer solution is available in either buckets or spray bottles.
Freezers were at -18 deg C or colder.
Dry storage areas were organized and containers were labelled.
Staff room area was in satisfactory condition.
Front service area:
Hand sink equipped with liquid soap and paper towels.
Area with one large sink - now replaced with double compartment sink and dishwasher installed.
Submit document for the front service area (revised layout plan - indicate location of equipment, changes in menu, Sanitation Plan for the equipment, etc.).
Once submitted document has been reviewed and accepted, an inspection will be conducted to check equipment and then health approval may be granted.
Retail area:
Refrigeration units were at or below 4 deg C.
Freezers were at or below -18 deg C.
All food products displayed were stored off the floor.
Pest control monitoring in place. No signs of pests noted at time of visit.
Washrooms were in sanitary condition.
General sanitation of facility was satisfactory.
Note: Health permit was hand delivered at time of visit. Ensure to post permit in prominent location.
Items to address:
1. Temperature log and sanitation log must be available on-site as well as copies of pest control report.
2. Proper ware washing signs must be posted at the 3 comp sink to remind staff to follow proper ware washing procedures (dirty dish wares, wash, rinse, sanitize and air dry - one way flow).
3. Sanitizer solution (diluted and ready for use) must be available at all times during operation.
