Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): No sanitizer was available at the time of inspection. A 100ppm chlorine solution was prepared at the time of inspection. Ensure an approved sanitizer is prepared and used throughout the day to disinfect food contact surfaces. Any food equipment used at room temperature must be washed and disinfected every 4 hours.

304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation: Old rodent droppings noted in the shelving units in the front retail area. Droppings were removed and area was disinfected with a 100ppm chlorine by staff at the time of inspection. Facility has an on-going contract with the pest control company. If problem persists, operator is to notify the pest control company and implement the proper actions to ensure premises is free of pest.

Routine inspection conducted and the following were noted:
All cooler units at 4C and equipped with thermometers.
High temperature achieved a final rinse temperature of 80C at plate level.
Chest freezer at -18C.
2 compartment sink available in back food preparation area.
All foods stored at least 6 inches off the ground and properly covered.
Deli products within the best before dates.
Dipperwell in use for stirrers and scoops.
