Apple cider processing area: Observed process for making apple cider at time of inspection. Sinks provided with liquid soap and paper towels. Chlorine sanitizer was at 200 ppm. Cleaning/sanitizing log available. Also, processing log was available and up to date. Apple cider processing has been approved by CFIA. Premises was clean and no other miscellaneous items stored in the processing area. Pest control monitoring in place. Control measures in place for flies and fruit flies (fruit flies season). Walk-in cooler was less than 4 deg C. This is where finished apple cider are bottled and labelled. Containers/bottles were stored in sanitary condition (off the floor and kept in original wrapping package).
