Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): No food contact surface sanitizer was available in the kitchen. Spray bottle with Quat-based sanitizer was stored in the washroom.
Corrective Action(s): Sanitizer solution must be available in the kitchen at all times. A clearly labelled spray bottle (labelled with "SANITIZER") must be available at all times.
Bottle of quat-based sanitizer moved from washroom to kitchen at time of inspection. 200 ppm Quats detected.

Observation: 1) Garbage bags used to cover trays of food in walk-in cooler.
2) Bait stations placed kitchen.
Corrective Action(s): 1) DISCONTINUE THIS PRACTICE. Do not use garbage bags to store/cover food, as they are not food-grade.
2) Remove bait stations from inside the facility. Baited stations are not to be used inside a food premises.

- Floors in dry storage room with dough mixer require cleaning.

- Hand sink supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and paper towels
- High-temperature dishwasher achieved 71C or hotter at dish surface during rinse cycle - good
- All coolers were measured to be at 4C or colder
- All freezers were measured to be at -18C or colder
- Food items were covered, however ensure only food-grade materials are used to cover/store food
- Ventilation canopy satisfactory. Reminder to clean ventilation canopy filters/baffles once a week.
- Upstairs storage area satisfactory
- Dry storage room across from washroom satisfactory
- Dry storage/dough mixer room requires attention. See notes in violations above.

- Reminder that FOODSAFE level 1 certificates now have expiry dates on them. Staff with expired certificates must retake the course.
- At time of inspection, one staff member had a valid FOODSAFE certificate.
