Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): The front hand sink had no paper towels, and containers of food were blocking the handsink, not making it accessible or encouraging for staff to wash their hands between tasks.
Corrective Action(s): Immediately fill the paper towels dispenser or place paper towels beside the hand sink on the counter. Immediately move the containers of food, so the sink is accessible for use. During the inspection, paper towels were placed beside the sink and the food containers were removed.

Observation: The protective, plastic covering on the ice machine, lower shelf of kitchen prep table, the legs of the oven, and the side of upright coolers in the kitchen have not been peeled off. The removal of this plastic was mentioned in the previous routine inspection. The plastic is not food grade and is not cleanable.
Corrective Action(s): Immediately peel off the plastic covering from all surfaces to expose the sealed and cleanable surfaces beneath it.

Comments

A routine inspection was completed, the following observations were made:
- Coolers 4C or colder; freezers -18C or colder; and thermometers present.
- High temperature dishwasher rinse cycle had a surface temperature of 72.9C, as per max/min thermometer.
- Hand sink stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water.
- Bleach sanitizer in spray bottle had [Cl2] of 200ppm.
- All foods stored in food grade containers; covered; labeled; date coded; foods stored in groups; and foods stored 6" off the floor on shelves, rack or platforms.
- General sanitation level is good. No signs of pests.
- No expired foods for sale or in use. FIFO rules being followed.
- There are new gaskets on the u/c cooler, below the coffee machine.
- The ice machine lid is able to open and close correctly securely, to prevent contamination of the ice.
