Routine inspection conducted:
- Hand wash stations equipped hot/cold running water, liquid soap, and paper towels
- All cooling units at 4C or below
- Freezer unit at -18C
- Soup hot held at 73C
- Ice machine is clean, ice scoop stored in a food grade container
- Quats sanitizer spray at 200 ppm
- High temperature dishwasher 75.4 C at plate level
- No pest activity observed during inspection. Ongoing building pest control company contract, visits every Tuesdays
- 2 compartment sink available with sink plugs
- Temperature logs maintained daily
- Permit posted in visible spot
- Foodsafe certified operators on site
COVID-19 control measures:
- Max occupancy: 27 people
- High touch surface cleaning logs available, every 15 mins - 1 hr & every time customers leave a table
- Tables are 6 ft/2 m apart, only 2 people per table
- No self serve products for coffee
- Floor markings available
- Barrier in place at the cash register
- Employee health checks at the beginning of every shift
- COVID-19 signs posted
Required Actions:
- Ensure a copy of the COVID-19 safety plan is available on site. Worksafe BC template provided to operator during inspection. Provide a copy to the EHO via email.
