A routine inspection was completed:
- Coolers 4C or colder; freezers -20C or colder; thermometers present; and temps recorded daily.
- Hand sinks stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water.
- Quats sanitizer in spray bottles had strength of 200ppm. Test strips present.
- High temperature dishwasher had rinse cycle temperature of 77.1C at the plate's surface, as per max/min thermometer.
- All food stored in food grade containers; covered; labelled; date coded; foods stored in groups; and foods stored 6" off the floor on shelves and racks.
- No expired foods in use or for sale. FIFO rules being followed.
- General sanitation level is good. Improvement seen in hard-to-reach areas (under equipment and counter tops), Keep up the frequency these areas are being cleaned.
- No signs of pests.
- Valid, FoodSafe certified staff present and/or staff possess an equivalent recognized certificate.
- All surfaces and equipment durable, sealed and cleanable.
- At time of inspection, patron and staff washroom facilities closed due to replacement of waste pipe in parking lot. Staff using neighboring business's washroom facilities, and take-out services only for patrons (no seating).
