During the inspection the facility manager provided details on the steps taken to increase monitoring of added health and hygiene measures.
Reviewed product Sani - Q used for disinfecting. Discussed it's use and ensuring directions are implemented as per instructions. Bleach and water solution is also available for ongoing use and mixed daily.Reviewed storage practices of items such as plastic bags and cleaners to ensure they are inaccessible to children.
Licensing officers toured a secondary space for purpose of proposing to license the space for a School-age program. Space was equipped with kitchenette , 1 toilet and 1 sink suitable for 10 children. Measurements to confirm capacity. Please submit application to amend and floor plans & site plans ( 2 copies ) should you wish to proceed.
It was noted that the Safety Operating Plan was located within the office , plan after discussion is to post in a prominent place within the facility.
In practicing Covid-19 precautions the inspection report was completed off site with arrangements made for delivery, therefore unsigned.
At the inspection dated Oct 22, 2020, there were 11 children and 2 staff present. At this inspection contraventions were identified therefore a written response required. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.
