Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All care categories were inspected for compliance.

Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At this inspection dated September 20, 2021 there were 4 children and the Licensee present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. As part of this routine inspection a facility risk assessment tool was completed and a copy will be provided.
The following education/recommendations were provided:
-COVID-19 prevention strategies were reviewed and discussed
-Criminal record check process

The following resources were provided:

-Policies and procedures resource document (emailed)

The inspection findings were reviewed with the Licensee at the time of the inspection. The inspection report and facility risk assessment tool were written off site (.25 hours) and a copy of this report and the risk assessment will be emailed to the Licensee.
