Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1 metal can of pizza marinara sauce (Full-Red) 100 oz liquid was dented on multiple sides and was stored in the walk in cooler. Dented cans may contain potentially contaminated food that might not be suitable for human consumption. Staff removed the can from walk in cooler to be returned to the supplier.
Corrective Action(s): Do not accept dented cans.

Comments

Routine inspection conducted.

Findings:
- General sanitation of the facility was satisfactory.
- Temperature of prep coolers, walk in cooler & stand up cooler recorded at or below 4C
- 2x stand up freezers and 1x chest freezer recorded below -18C
- Pizza slices are time tracked and discarded every 2 hours as per the staff onsite.
- 2x handwash sinks had adequate supply of hot and cold running water, liquid soap and single use paper towels.
- 200ppm QUATs solution recorded in spray bottle.
- 3 compartment dishwashing sink used for manual dishwashing. Drain plugs and QUATS chemical bottle available onsite. Staff explained manual dishwashing steps. Good
- Food was stored at least 6 inches off the floor.
- Staff has valid FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate (Exp June 12, 2028)
- Permit posted at the front.
- No signs of pest activity observed.

Improvement noted as compared to previous routine inspection. Good.
