Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Cardboard was being used to line the floor in the back area into the walk in freezer. Staff removed the cardboard during the inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Do not use cardboard to line the floors as it is not a cleanable surface.

308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation: 1. Paper towel dispenser at the handwashing station was not working. Staff stated the dispenser needed new batteries.
2. Plastic bag was being used to wrap the pre-rinse spray nozzle at 3 compartment sink. Staff stated nozzle was leaking due to the deteriorating rubber. Staff discarded plastic bag during the inspection.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Replace paper towel dispenser batteries and ensure paper towel dispenser is in good working order.

2. Fix pre-rinse spray nozzle. Do not use plastic bags to wrap spray nozzle as it can promote mould growth.
